Forum Business Travel is launching a pioneering three-year training program for travel managers
Forum Business Travel & Events is launching a new continuing education program aimed at corporate travel professionals, with the goal of strengthening the sector?s capabilities at a time of transformation in corporate mobility. The initiative will launch in April 2026 in Madrid and Barcelona and will comprehensively address corporate travel management through 16 modules over three years.

The program, called Business Travel End-to-End, will be integrated into the regular sessions of Forum Business Travel and will combine training and networking in a single setting. Through short, practical training modules designed for immediate application, the content will cover everything from the current role of the travel manager to key aspects such as strategic procurement, supplier management, technology, the traveler experience, sustainability, and data analytics. With this launch, the organization is reviving and reinforcing one of its historical pillars?training?adapting it to the new needs of the sector. The program has been designed for professionals at various levels of experience and offers a progressive path that allows participants to develop a comprehensive understanding of corporate travel, from strategy to operations. ?For years, we have seen how the role of the travel manager has gained importance within organizations, but also how the complexity of their role has increased. This program was created precisely to support that evolution with practical, structured training designed for day-to-day operations,? explains Natalia Ros, co-founding partner of Forum Business Travel & Events.

In a context where business travel has ceased to be a purely operational function and has become a strategic element within companies, the initiative seeks to address the growing complexity of the environment. Factors such as pressure to control spending, the digitization of processes, regulatory requirements, and the need to improve the employee experience are redefining the role of the travel manager. ?We wanted to build a program that wouldn?t remain purely conceptual, but would provide real, applicable tools. That?s why we?re talking about an end-to-end approach, which covers the entire corporate travel cycle with a practical and forward-thinking vision,? notes Óscar García, co-founding partner of Forum Business Travel & Events. With this program, Forum Business Travel & Events consolidates its position as the leading platform for the travel management community in Spain and takes another step forward in its commitment to providing knowledge, value, and practical tools to professionals in the sector.
